Running
Running is a good all-round exercise that is great for overall
cardiovascular fitness. Running (or jogging/power-walking) at
a pace to suit is a great way of working out. All you need is
a pair of trainers and comfortable clothes in which to train.
Couldn't be easier! For the more adventurous off-road running
on the Downs is exhilarating.
Cycling
Cycling enables you to improve your fitness level whilst enjoying
the local scenery at the same time! Be it a leisurely ride along
the front or something more taxing up on the Downs or extensive
Sussex lanes. A great idea for those not wishing to cycle alone
or who may not know some of the excellent routes available in
the area.
Home visits
It is also very easy to tone up and increase your level of fitness
in the comfort of your own home using items such as free weights,
swiss ball, dynaband and a skipping rope that I can provide.
Boxing
Boxing training is an excellent way of keeping in shape and trying
something different. A good way of relieving stress and aggression!
Great for core stability.
Skipping
Whilst this may be regarded as a school playground activity believe
me it is a great way of keeping fit! Can be harder than it looks
however with some practise it is great for improving overall fitness
and co-ordination.
Gym visits
I can also offer accompanied visits to a gym where you will have
access to a full range of facilities.
Plyometrics
This is a form of power training including leaping, jumping and
throwing a medicine ball. Good for developing explosive power
- and excellent fun.
